The 2019 season is upon the Formula 1 crowd again with pre-season testing taking place right this moment in Barcelona, Spain. With all of the teams debuting their 2019 entries over the last two weeks, the teams have hit the track hard over the weekend.
Over the winter break there were many changes in the paddock from drivers retiring and moving on to new teams and even 2019 shakes up the rules and regulations on the Formula 1 teams.
Pre-season testing is always a shot in the bucket many say because teams are not ready to truly show their performance gains from the over the winter. So teams can not even try to sandbag. Williams F1 is already having issues with even getting their car to run with delays at their factory holding up the process of their new car.
But on track, Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc have kept Ferrari so far at the top of the time sheet after two days on the Spain circuit. To most people’s surprise McLaren with their new Renault engine was right behind Ferrari on the scorecard.
