This video is from almost 20 years ago in 1998 when Lewis Hamilton took to the Larkhall circuit for a wet karting race. It is no shock that Hamilton and his No.44 kart waxed the entire field on the slippery track by 15 seconds.
In 1998 Hamilton actually signed with McLaren in their development driver programme which kickstarted his entrance into Formula 1. Hamilton’s relationship with McLaren lasted all the way to 2012.
