Over 150 Drivers Set For Roar Before The Rolex 24

This weekend marks the start of the 2019 racing season for IMSA fans around the world. The Roar Before the Rolex 24 at Daytona will have more than 150 driver entrants and a 47-car entry field for the three-day test session for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

“The Roar” as most fans have come to call the event is the kickoff for the upcoming season and for the teams to get a handle on their car and driver setup along with shaking down brand new cars that the teams took delivery of over the winter break.
This year at “The Roar” will be public unveiling of the Michelin and IMSA partnership as the “Official Tire of IMSA.” All 47 cars that will be in Daytona this weekend will be running Michelin tires.
