Engineering Explained is a fantastic youtube channel dedicated to using, you called it ‘Engineering’ to figure out automotive solutions or explain how certain parts of your vehicle work.
In a recent installment from EE the battle that was tackled was how long does your vehicle take to warm up when the temperatures are below zero. Take for instance the oil filter and battery. The oil filter after just a few minutes is up to temp and so is the coolant but the battery is just as frozen as could be still.
