Welcome to a collection of the most interesting World War II photos. From black and white photos to full-color images of the war that lasted 1939 to 1945. Although those are the official dates there were many conflicts that lead up to 1939 that provoked the global war. The war involved more than 100 million people from 30 countries. Here is a picture gallery that takes you through one of the largest wars this planet has ever seen.
