One of the most notable vehicles from the television series was the black 1972 Ferrari Daytona Spyder 365 GTS/4 from the early episodes of Miami Vice. The vehicle was driven by James “Sonny” Crockett before he switched to the Ferrari Testarossa in the third season.
Who can forget the iconic Mystery Machine Van from the popular cartoon series Scooby Doo. It was featured as the primary mode of transportation for the show’s main characters as they set out on their adventures attempting to solve the day’s mystery.
The iconic musical Grease, featured two major vehicles in the film both holding the name “Greased Lightning.” The first version of the 1948 Ford De Luxe is white and second is a red fantasy version that the cast dances on and is present at the end of the movie.
Anne Paquin played mutant superheroine Rogue in the 2000 film X-Men, X2 in 2003, and its third installment in 2006, X-Men: The Last Stand. She returned in 2014 to play Rogue in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
The organizers estimated that turn-out would be around 50,000. This ended up being a monumental underestimate, as the final number rounded out to about 400,000!
