Everything Netflix is Canceling in 2023

It has been confirmed that “1899” will not be renewed for a second season by Netflix. The news was announced by the series’ co-creator Baran bo Odar in a statement on his official Instagram account, which was also signed by his partner and co-creator Jantje Freise. In the statement, Odar expressed his disappointment about the cancellation and shared that he and Freise had hoped to continue the show for additional seasons, just as they had with “Dark.” He acknowledged that sometimes things do not go as planned and thanked the fans for their support.
