UK-based blogger Jen Lou Meredith found an affordable way to create a small island by repurposing a Kallax unit and two Lamplig chopping boards as a wooden countertop. With a cost of around $90, this DIY project is significantly cheaper than purchasing a pre-made island from sites like eBay.
