Results From The HSR Classic 24 Hour At Daytona

Over the weekend a list of historic championship winning sports car took to the Daytona International Speedway road course track for the Classic 24 Hour event by IMSA. There were six run groups from all different eras of sports car racing dating back to the 60s. This year was the fourth running of the HSR Classic at Daytona. All group winners take home a B.R.M Chronograph watch for being the overall best in class around the 3.56-mile road course.
The overall winner of the Classic event is the 2005 No. 38 Audi R8 LMP from Rogers Motorsports driven by Andy Wallace and Doug Smith. Wallace took the lead in Group E during the second session in the evening.
